Why the limit? Seems it takes to long to add up enough points to shop for items, and if you don't enter points within so many weeks/months you lose the points you have entered.come on coke ,I must keep at least one person ajod in your company with all the coke I buy,so why not allow us to enter a unlimited amount of points.

I can think of a few reasons not to allow unlimited points. Someone working at a recycling plant could scarf up a million points and clean everything out. 120 points equals 144 cans of soda if you get it by the twelve pack. Twenty and a half cans a day. How can someone drink more than that?

Wow Walter I have never sat and figured out the math on points to how many come in a 12 pack or 24 case. As for me I don't have a set day that I enter my coke rewards so it could be weeks before I either remember or find time to enter my limit. Well a household can drink a lot when there is more than one person in your home doing the coke drinking. There are my husband and myself, our kids and their spouses ,grand kids ,neighbor kids that raid the frig when my grands are here that they hang out with, get together s I keep my tops when I supply soft drinks for family get together s or church get together s . You have a point about the recycling plant ,I would never have thought of that sort of thing. I alone drink on average 8-10. So they do add up pretty fast at our house.

IT is because there is actually pathetic losers who go through garbage cans for points. They pass right over valuable garbage, don't even take the bottles for the deposit (they say that makes them feel like bums..but going through the garbage for points doesn't) and then are getting hundreds of dollars of gift cards every Christmas as well has dozens of free twelve pack coupons. Coke set this up to be a BONUS for their loyal customers. A way to get a little something back. But people are using it to get hundreds of dollars from Coke, while buying NONE. And in fact, costing Coke more money since they are getting dozens of twelve packs (which costs Coke money to make, bottle and ship) and paying nothing. These people are not customers. They are leeches. 75 points per week is way more than one person can drink. Or should drink. And if you have more than one person in your family, you can open a second account. But even at the highest point per ounce ratio, that is still 25 bottles a week..or over 3 1/2 a day. No one should be drinking 70 ounces of ANY soda in any one day, let alone every day. And if you DO drink that much, you are better off getting 2 liter bottles or 12 packs which give you less points per ounce, but are much cheaper. So again, these new limits only affect people who are entering caps that they did not buy. (either thought friends or going through garbage.) And that is not what the program was meant to do.

I am going to be the next to comment on this--AND I SAY THAT YOUR OPINION OF THIS IS RIDICULOUS, as Donna Moore pointed out.

Let me tell you something--YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY THE PRODUCTS TO GET THE POINTS. Case in point--each day I am at work I, like others who have to take out the garbage, find empty bottles with the caps still on, or half-full bottles with the caps still on (I dump whatever is still in there before tossing the bottle)...or even empty 12-packs with box tops still on (I take those off, and toss the boxes).

And, on occasion, I find 20-pack codes too. But when I find caps of one color from multiple products, I make it easier by writing down each code, and the product it came from.

Also, I keep the caps and box tops from the products I buy, and I don't toss them until I've entered the codes.

Last, but not least, they have reduced the limit from 100 to 75 last year, when they launched the "new" program, and there are some people complaining about *that*. I've done some of it, but minimal, but have gotten used to how this new program has worked, and it's been one year since it was implemented.

SO IF YOU WANNA BOYCOTT COKE, GO AHEAD. BUT LEAVE US COKE FANS IN PEACE!

Well, lakawak, you are wrong on a few of your points and you know what they say about opinions!! I am 66 years old and I drink AT LEAST four 20 ounce Diet Cokes a day, everyday but usually more than that!! I have done so, for so many years, I can't remember when I didn't drink this much or more everyday!! I also drink a good bit of water daily also!! I am very healthy, with a BMI of 23, and have no problems with blood pressure, diabetes or any other diseases!! So alone, I drink at least 28 - 20 ounce bottles of Diet Coke a week. My husband, also drinks coke products, not as I do because he likes other beverages like coffee and tea. Not to mention I have 2 grown daughters and son-in-laws and FOUR teenage grandchildren that come to our home regularly...and each of them always drink a coke product or two when they come here! I keep a good selection of soft drinks so they have a choice, because they all don't like the same one.
When local grocers put their Coke products on sale, it is not uncommon for us to buy 10-12 cases at a time.

Let me say, it is not up to you, or any of your business how many Coke products I or anyone else drink on a daily basis!! You are not an authority and are actually showing a lack of intelligence by the majority of your post. You do not know what happens in the home of others, you can only assume, and you are even wrong doing that!

I am not a leech, nor do I expect to get something I haven't earned or for which I have not paid! There may be people as you have described, but I feel there are more of us that have bought them honestly, than the ones who you say have "dug through garbage" to get them!

There is no way with all the Coke products that are consumed in my home, that only allowing 100 points a week. that I would be able to redeem all of the lids that I have, and I feel sure that others have likewise!

Your observation and opinion is ridiculous!!!
