Hi Peggy, due to the popularity of our program, we’ve made the transition from 12 digit codes to 14 digit codes, to ensure we have a steady supply of codes for you, our loyal members. We apologize for any inconvenience, but 12 digit codes are no longer accepted as of 8/1/2014.
I discovered the same thing last week - I have stacks of old codes, when I get around to entering codes I grab from the top of the pile so the old 12 digit codes sit at the bottom. I even check the rules occasionally to be sure they won't expire (yeah, I read that stuff). Sure enough, they changed the rules and killed the 12 digit codes. I wrote and asked them when they changed the rules, got a polite reply simply saying I was out of luck. Frustrating. I can point out when they don't follow their own rules (they didn't even officially extend the program for 2014 until after the first of the year) but they can do what they want anyway. At least the program is still running - they terminated it in other countries.
