I’m very disappointed, frustrated, annoyed & quickly losing hope for ever enjoying Restaurant Town again.

Problem with update!

I'm now curious to know how many other players are spending more time dealing with problems in the game than they are playing them. I downloaded Restaurant Town some time ago & rarely played it because I was playing another cooking type game that was more interactive, interesting & also free. I then became frustrated because every time there was an update to that game there were so many glitches the only solution was to uninstall & start from the beginning with very little Tech Support.

As a result I started spending a lot more time playing Restaurant Town & began to enjoy it. I also started to notice this game had a lot of glitches (missing gems, missing inventory, gifting issues, missing or unresponsive chefs, frequent game crashes, etc.) & needed frequent updates. However, the Support Team via this forum seemed responsive & helpful. In addition to that, prior to the update that took place around 02/22/14 it was still possible to play the older version without updating even though neighbors restaurants couldn't be visited.

Now I'm beginning to wonder if this game & the time spent playing it is a total loss because the last update (03/06/14) has made it impossible to open, let alone actually play it. As I read through this forum I'm seeing a lot of other players that are experiencing the same troubles with the game as I am with very few answers or resolution taking place. I'm wondering when the Programmers are going to admit defeat on this last update (03/06/14) and either release a fix for it or figure out how to reset us all back to the games we were playing prior to the update. Something tells me that when the attempt was made to decrease the data size of the game some very vital information was wiped out. I'd truly just like to be able to go back to spending time playing Restaurant Town instead of reading this forum witnessing all of the other gamers disappointed & frustrated by all of the problems they're also having with the programming.

If enough people give information on the issues they're having with this last update will someone actually listen & resolve the problem?(NanobitID-TheHoss)

    This is very frustrating. I hope it will be fixed soon. I am using the oldest ipad and game keeps on crashing. Please please do something.

    As you have wrote before, we are always here to help and we are always trying to make Restaurant Town even better for our players! We are sorry for all the glitches our players have experienced and we are working hard to minimise these glitches with every update!
    The issue you've reported is one unique case that happened to you alone (you were the only one to report issue of this kind!) and we are working on figuring out what went wrong! The other players have problems with crashes because they have older devices iPad 1/iPod 4 which have memory issues!
    I'm asking you to understand that we are doing the best we can to help each and every one of you! If in some cases takes 2 days for us to respond to your enquiry, please be patient and please do not open 3 new topics. We'll get to you as soon as we can and we'll discuss all of the issues you encounter on your original topic!

    I do apologize if you feel that I have inundated your Staff with topics to follow up on. While to you they may all seem the same, in my mind's eye they're similar but different. You made a valid point that you were delayed due to the weekend. Once again perhaps you are due an apology regarding timing, as for me on the other end of this, the clock doesn't stop; therefore new issues may arise from one experience to the next with the game & I try to share them all as clearly & concisely as possible in hopes that it's easy for someone else to follow in order to assist me as efficiently as possible.

    We are thankful for every piece of information and feedback you gave to us! Please continue to write and alert us on all the issues/bugs/problems you encounter because you indeed do that in an amazing way! I was just trying to point out that you've encountered a unique situation (as far as this forum and iTunes comments are concerned!) within our game and we are as frustrated as you are because we can not figure out why this happened with your game! It's far from common bug and situation but we'll try to prevent this from happening ever again!
