Additional Maps in Navfree

I am using NavFree on my ipad, in the UK and I think it is brilliant.... far better than my garmin that cost £180. I have even got into OpenMaps and been updating the speedlimits on the map where I live.
I am due to go to france soon and would love to use it there. Can I update NAVFREE with a french map. On the website it seems to suggest that I can by an app for £3.99 that does this, but I am not sure if this is for the Navfree or Navmii.

thanks

Richard

Hi Richard,

The EU versions of Navmii use map data provided by AND
They were the nearest we could get to free before we looked into the possibility of OSM data.

Alas there is currently nothing we can do to combine map regions in iPhone versions of Navmii - this is a limitation we hope to resolve as soon as possible.

All the regional versions of Navmii are separate apps. We're working toward offering map regions as options for in-app download from within a single unified application.

Excellent..after I bought an additional map (France) via the app (NavFree Netherlands) itself...why offer the possibility to buy additional maps for €2,39 if they can't be used???
(since I can't seem to run 2 separate apps either)
