Nero Video 2018: Tiefenscroller. Wie kann ich Scrollgeschwindgkeit verändern?

Hallo

  • Thanks for your Reply

I mean the scroll effect which is also shown at the beginning of Star Wars movies. Text from bottom to top in 3D .

I have already seen that the effect speed is depending on the effect duration. But the scroll effect has already finished after approx 50% of the whole effect length?
    In my case:
Effect duration 20sec. But after 10 seconds you see nothing on the screen

    Thanks

  • What is the name of the text effect? I tried all the scroller effects and the 3DSpace effect in Nero Video and, in the worst case, there was no text shown for the last 5 seconds. I was using a 5 letter word for my text.

  • I found that each time one adds another line of text, the time between the disappearance of the text and the end of the effect, increases.

  • @Whither, yes. This is a fixed animation pattern, and this how the effect is defined.

If you add more than one line of text in the given animation pattern and do not change the duration, the effect will move faster.

So, if you have a given effect and want to adapt this to duration, the basic timing of the effect needs to be taken into account when creating the text layout, in the first place.

This does not change what was said above about adapting the duration. And as mentioned, it is about testing out what works best for the given case.
    • That implies the solution is to set the duration of the effect to the duration of the animation. However, no matter how short I make the duration of the effect, there is still some time between when the text is gone and the effect ends. One doesn't see the same amount of lag time at the front end of the effect. Since I'm working in v2015 right now, I would say that the characteristics of this effect have been this way since day 1.

  • I’m sad
    Dear all

    this is exactly my problem

My text consists of 20 lines.
    I set the effect-clip-duration to 20 seconds
But already after approx 10 seconds the effect is finished and i only see the Background.
The time between the text is gone and the end of the effect-clip is much too long.

I would expect that the effect-length matches the clip-duration, or I am wrong?

I understand, it works as designed, but not as expected... :-(

  • I had a little time this morning so I tried it in v9 using the 20 second duration.

No matter how many lines I put in, the text disappears with about 3 seconds left. If I make the duration 30 seconds, the lag time is about 4 seconds.

This behavior is similar to what we're seeing in the later versions but the lag times are significantly different.
