Nero Video Batch Export of NVC files

I'm using Nero Video 2015. I have recorded my kid's volleyball games and used Nero Video to add a scoreboard at the top of the screen. I now need to export my project to video to put on the team's website. It is taking 30-40 minutes to export each video. Since I have recorded 10 games I want to batch export all 10 projects and leave my computer running all at instead of starting each one individually. Is this possible? I've searched Google and this forum but I haven't found an answer.

Thanks for your help

  • If I understand you correctly, just import all your files and put them on the timeline before exporting. I assume you're using Make Advanced Movie.

  • How do I do that and still end up with a separate video file for each of the 10 games? If I put everything on the same timeline, won't that give me 1 video file after I export it? Right now I have been editing one game, adding the scores to it and exporting that one game. Exporting takes 30-40 minutes. I then edit the next game and export it. What I would like to do is edit all games separately providing me with 10 different NVC files. I would then like to set up Nero to batch export all of them separately to 10 different video files while I sleep at night.

  • You can't. When you said you wanted to "batch" export all of them I was taking you literally.

I don't know how you are taking the individual videos and playing them at the high school. You could just create a DVD-Video disc with a Titles and Chapters menu. Insert a chapter for each video prior to creating the menu. Then just select the chapter you want to play when you play the disc. That avoids having to export each video separately.

  • I have burned DVDs in the past with chapters and that's easy enough - good for the coach to review the games. The team wants the videos on YouTube so they can have links on their website. They have families all over who want to see them so DVDs aren't a good solution for them. Too bad I can't have multiple copies of Nero open at the same time so it could export one video while I'm editing another.

  • There is some kind Windows key stroke that you can use to allow multiple instances of a program that is on the taskbar. I think it is Shift+Enter in Win 7 but I tried it some time back and couldn't get it to work with Nero.

You can try Export, Export to Web, Export to export your project directly to YouTube.
