Nero Wave Editor Menu Submenu Items missing

I'm a registered user of Nero Platinum 2019. Yesterday I updated to 2020 version.
Now my Nero Wave Editor menu, submenu items are showing "INVOEGEN" which means "attach" but when I click on that, nothing happens. Also through NeroStart or Nero Control Center, nothing indicates something about Nero Wave Editor stuff to be added or to be updated. When I go to https://www.nero.com/nld/downloads/ to download / redownload to the newest Nero Wave Editor, it all turns out to be identical the same issue.

Any idea? Help?

It have worked before with all the submenus under Platinum 2019 version, but not with the 2020 Suite.

Only option is to uninstall my entire Nero Platinum 2020 and downgrade back to 2019 but that doesn't sound right in my honest opinion as 2020 solves a lot despite Nero Wave Editor :-(

  • Something very strange there. Where you have Extra, I have Tools and 9 are listed. None are Attach. It's always been that way. You're also missing sub items in the Effects and Enhancements. I think you should download a fresh copy of WaveEditor and install it.

    • "If you go here,

      C:\Program Files (x86)\Nero

there should be a WaveEditor folder. If so, what happens if you run waveedit.exe. "

I double click on it. It loads... tada, Nero Wave Editor 21.0.1001 Copyright (C) 2020 Nero AG. Identical to the screenshot above where I'm missing submenu items :-)
    • I have included a screenshot of Nero Wave Editor 21.0.1001 2020 Nero AG below..

  • No clickable button to get a few days back in time with Windows 10 64bit after "updating" Nero 2019 to Nero 2020... :-(

  • What I'd like you to do is to go to Control panel, Programs, Programs and Features and uninstall Nero WaveEditor (I assume you don't have older versions of Nero installed).

Also, go to the Nero WaveEditor folder and delete it.

    Download this version-

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/t94dtosqm89...

    install it.

I'm not sure if it will install in the Nero 11 folder or if it will install in it's own folder in the path I gave you.

Right click on the .exe file and select "run as administrator."

Do you still have the problem?

  • Okay. It should be integrated into v2020. What happens if you start it from there?

    • I'm happy that WE works. When I check Nero Control Center, it now wants to update WE. Which is something I won't do as it can turn out to be the same issue I had before.
    • Okay. Of course, you know how to revert back if you want to try it.
