I’m frustrated

Nero MediaHome ha dejado de funcionar

Hoy sin motivo aparente, me ha dejado de funcionar Nero Media Home, tengo muchas fotografías y vídeos incluidos en el producto y ahora cuando ejecuto el programa se genera una ventana de error en la que se indica "Nero Media Home dejó de funcionar - Windows está buscando una solución" y seguyidamente aparece una nueva ventana en la que se me indica " Nero MediaHome dejó de funcionar - El programa dejó de funcionar correctamente por un problema. Windows cerrará el programa y le notificará si existe una solución".
Seguidamente se cierra el programa y no puedo trabajar con ninguno de los ficheros que tengo incluidos en dicho programa.
Solicito ayuda para poder seguir trabajando como he hecho hasta ahora con el mencionado programa

    I have tried to re-run the application as administrator, but the error persists. When I run the application, immediately before receiving the error message and for a very short period of time, I can see the groups of pictures, but the “faces Name” have disappeared.     I have not renamed the folders Nero and Nero and Nero AG from C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local , because this fact will generate two new folders without data... Media Home will work again, but data will be lost for the second time.

  • Hi Gonzalo- you could run a System Restore to before the problem recurred. However, I agree that you shouldn't rename the folders.

    You could copy the contents of both both folders to two other folders with different names of your choice and then try renaming only the Nero AG folder since I suspect that the mediahub configuration file in that folder is what causes the problem. However, that's just conjecture on my part.

    Tech support has provided a batch file in other threads on this subject for people to run which generates a file that they can look at to try to determine the problem. I think you should send an e-mail to tech support. Run the getsupportfiles utility to generate the nerosupport.cab and attach the .cab file to your e-mail. You can get the utility under Support Tools at-

    Please note that the NeroMediaHome problem described by Gonzalo, can have different causes, and each case needs to be analyzed independently.
    I have just checked his case, and it is currently being investigated by our Software Developers. Waiting for a solution from Gonzalo might not solve your problem.

    If you face a similar problem, I suggest you first to make sure you update your Nero MediaHome version. If the problem persits, please contact TechSupport and send us a NeroSupport.cab file. Then we can start analyzing why this is happening on your computer.
