Is this something you have control over Samuel? It started on the 8th for my feed from youtube that gets my new subscription videos. I've read that they depreciated this api and moved to v3 but I can't find a suitable URL to give to the newsblur client as a replacement.

HTTP Error (403)

I ended up replacing my subscriptions feed with individual feeds for every channel I'm subscribed to. Not exactly easy and elegant, but at least it works for now. Judging by the comments, I guess there's hope that the API v3 could provide a working solution again, though I'm far from familiar with what sort of changes they plan on doing.

I found a solution, but it isn't perfect.

Here is the link: https://code.google.com/p/gdata-issue...

I'll also copy the contents of post # 15 here.

This is the solution:

1. Get token here OAuth2
https://gdata.youtube.com/demo/index....
2. Press the Authenticate button.
3. Copy the token after the "authenticated using OAuth2 token" text.
4. Add to the RSS url access_token parameter: access_token=

The RSS should correspond to the account under which the token was obtained.

Example of final URL:

https://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/u...

Saludos.

WARNING

After performing those steps and creating the URL with the oAuth token in it I tested it in the browser and it did in fact work. Knowing I had a working URL i just edited my RSS subscription in NewsBlur to fix this up and then realized that when I did that it treated it as a new subcription and I lost access to all my old items from the previous feed.

I've tried to created a new feed with the broken URL to get access to them but NewsBlur won't create the feed if the RSS URL doesn't return a proper result.

So, I think they are gone.

In the end, its worth having a working feed.

I hope this helps.

good lord... its like they want us to consume less of their content. It did in fact stop working again because of the oAuth time out. Looks like I'll have to have a look at one of the refresh services. I'll post what I come up with here.

Anton in the gdata bug report made a proxy that looks like its getting the job done for us. At least its working at the moment for me. Here is the URL for others to try out.
