When I open the Newsblur app (or pull down to refresh) it takes over a minute. I just timed it, over 90 seconds. It doesn't matter if I have 1 unread story or 2000 unread stories.

I have over 800 feeds. I'm guessing there's a serial web call for each feed?

I'm on a wifi connection, so it's not like the data rate is the limiting factor. I've tried it on other networks, so I know it isn't this wifi connection.
