Folder Hierarchy

Instead of having the feed folder hierarchy displayed as a tree, I think it would be nicer to have the hierarchy flattened out with folder name prepended with its parent's (so they're all still sorted..).

So for example, the hierarchy:
* News
** Israel
** World

Would show as:
* News-Israel
* News-World

This is just more aesthetic imho as the current tree view can be disorienting.

You know, this is actually what I do on iOS and Android. It's called the flat hierarchy since it flattens out the recursive folder structure. But I don't have it on the web partially because there's a whole lot of ancillary functions (folders moving, deleting, add feeds to a folder) that would have to compensate for both hierarchies and that's not an easy thing to do.

If enough folks vote it up and comment here I could be convinced since it would probably only be a day of work.

I'd vote against this unless it's controlled by configuration: it eliminates the primary visual cue of grouping. It also effectively removes a feature (visual grouping) without adding much, as you can always make folders called `News - Israel` if you want.

Yes, this would definitely be a preference not turned on by default. It's just that I've already built the flat hierarchy for iOS. I just need to port it.

I am neutral.
What I definitely don't want do lose is the possibility to select 'News' and see the content of all subfolders.
If this would be an option (as mentioned above) I will not vote against it ;-)
