tags tags tags!

I got a subscription hoping that it would open up some features that seemed to be lacking in the free version: Tags and easy sharing. I was a bit disappointed when I found out that there is basically no tagging feature in Newsblur, and no ability to import tagged items from Google Reader. I have lots of tags in reader and while I see that your "blurblog" feature "could" be used to save items into categories or tags, I really don't want to recreate ALL my tags and hunt down the thousands of articles they contain. I'll give you a usage example: I see a cool DIY project, I tag it "DIY" so I can come back to it later. Feedly's free version supports this (and most other reader apps,) can't you?

Sharing should be more obvious. It took me quite a while to figure out I had to click the TINY expansion arrow next to the article's title to send the article to my social networks. Maybe just add some always visible sharing buttons.

The slightly inefficient sharing I can deal with, but no tags? Huge deal breaker for me. I'll be cancelling my subscription until I see some change on that front which hopefully will come soon since Google Reader will be gone next month, if I can't import them to your service before then, then I'll probably never be able to. I'll give Newsblur a go for a bit longer since I've paid for it and doubt I can get a refund, but I'll probably stick with Feedly--it's much less confusing, it does have it's shortcomings but at least I can keep my tags.

Yup, this is coming up right after I finish offline in iOS. I have a great feature in mind.

If you want to quickly share a story, hit shift+s then command+enter. And there's a big button on the Feed view next to every story. Also, I'm happy to offer refunds.

Gotcha. Thanks for the quick reply. If tags are in the pipeline I'll keep giving Newsblur a try. I've backed up my Reader account using Takeout, so even after it goes dark hopefully I'll be able to import my tags to your service when you implement the feature. Don't forget about search too. The ability to search tagged articles or categories is something that I used a whole lot in Reader (i.e.-searcing for a specific recipe in my "recipes" tag.)

I did notice the big button in the feed view, but doesn't it just sent the article to my blurblog? A popup sharing menu like the one you implemented near the article's title would be nice here since it's the most obvious sharing button.

I look forward to the future improvements. I've tried at least 10 different Reader alternatives and Newsblur and Feedly are the final contenders for me (your response time for my concern is much better than Feedly's, so bonus points for that.)

Thanks again for the prompt response.
