Awesome, thanks for noting this! Version 4.0 was supposed to be this fast. It's an enormous rewrite, it just happened to have some pretty bad database locks that were extremely difficult to suss out. Now that this is out of the way, we're going to continue improving the Android app by adding even more web-only features.
Thumbs up, 4.1 seems to do away with all the crashes I had with the two previous updates, and the app feels very snappy now. It does get stuck "on its way..." for a couple of minutes every now and then, but I haven't been able to pin down the cause yet.
