Hello, I bought the version of MobileRss 3.0 for ipad cause i think it's fantastic, the problem is that i always share articles on facebook, and when i try to share an article it appears to me an advertisement saying how fantastic MobileRSS is, that's the only thing i can share with my friends on facebook instead of the article i want to share (i've tried that, the advertisement is correctly shared) I've paid 4 € for nothing? That's not how it's supposed to be.

the only thing it let's me share is the following:

"I love MobileRSS HD in my iPad, the best app for Google Reader
check out: MobileRSS HD
Through MobileRSS"

Please help ^^

Hi Sergi,

You're looking in the wrong place - sorry that wasn't made more clear. To share articles on Facebook, tap the sharing icon (at the top right in post view) and then Facebook. Let me know if this isn't clear, I can upload a screen shot to demonstrate-

One other thing though - previously when sharing on Facebook, it would include a thumbnail of the first image in the article along with the initial text. This no longer appears. Why is this so?

Hi Matt,

It should include a thumbnail automatically - I'm not sure for what reason it wouldn't, but I suspect it has something to do with the formatting of the page you're sharing or the images on it.

That's what I don't understand - previously when sharing from these same feeds the thumbnail was included, but now it does not include the thumbnail. It's irrespective of what feed I post. I thought perhaps it was a setting, but apparently not?

No, there is no setting for this. I'll look into it today though.

An example RSS feed would be any of the Wired Magazine RSS feeds:

Hi Matt,

I looked into this and it turns out it's a Facebook issue. The Facebook sharing API doesn't support images at all, but here's what's happening: MobileRSS submits a link to Facebook and then Facebook scans the link and extracts the image. For some reason, it doesn't seem to be working currently through the API. Other apps are exhibiting the same problem. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Has this been fixed? For some reason mine simply stopped the ability to publish aritcle information - when sharing to Facebook. I've removed the app and reinstalled. I've deleted the permissions on Facebook and reapproved... nothing works to post a story to the Facebook wall. Workaround? Fix? Thank you.
