Apple returns "Apps and app updates submitted to the App Store must be built with Xcode 5.1.1 or later, and iOS 7 SDK." when trying to Submit for Review after building with PhoneGap Build.
This comes only today, after their redesign of the iTunes Connect pages. Any thoughts? Ideas?

What can be done to fix this ASAP??!!

I built it at first using Phonegap 3.5. Than I was advised by Phonegap to use 3.4. I don't know if 3.5 would pass the test....anyone know?

You may be right that Phonegap might just need to update their build server (for the online service). God, I hope that's all that is needed!

Can any of the pgb team shed some light on this? If for no other reason but to help relieve some major anxiety.

Is anyone able to submit a pgb on iTunes Connect? If so, please post here your version and any pertinent config info.

It will be really strange that Apple will ban all forms of non-native app development without any prior announcement. Seems more like a different problem.
I hope this is not the case else our whole work for iOS would be useless.

Same issue here. Tried specifying 3.4 out of curiosity and no luck. Hoping that someone from PGB will at least give an update to say that they are looking in to the problem.

At what stage are people getting these errors? Are you getting rejection emails, or not even making it to that stage?

I already had a build "In Review" and it got rejected and email
I then tried new build and Submit for Review > I get the message and it would not submit

I submitted successfully...got the rejection email a few hours later. I posted it earlier this evening. Does anyone have any experiences using other development software for a simple html based app? Any recommendations? Need to bypass phonegap evidently.

I'm hoping the pgb build engine can be "tweaked" to produce the metadata needed (or whatever iTC is looking for in the ipa)

Same here @Ed, first ever submission - assumed I was doing something wrong.
Without a phonegap version in the config.xml, it allows me to upload using Application Loader and submit. Now in the waiting for review stage again after submitting about an hour ago. Most likely will result in the same message being emailed to me again. Not sure why I'm not getting the message when I click submit.

That's what I would think too..I thought I was doing so well making it past that screen and finally getting it to submit. And then something like this to happen that I have no control over. I fear I may have to learn xcode. Yet another language to learn.

I got the same message. I'm using PGB 3.5.0. I included the CFBundleShortVersionString fix in my config file in order to get it to submit in the first place.

Does anyone else have the following message in iTunes Connect under prerelease?
"Build x.x.x does not contain the correct beta entitlement. For more information, see the iTunes Connect Developer Guide."

Yes, same thing here. I could now submit though without the error coming up.
I get a feeling though that it will be rejected same as earlier with same email coming my way.
We will see.

This appears to be an issue with the Phonegap build compiler. Compiler version doesn't seem to be correct. IMO

Hi all, have no fear we are running 5.1.1 like any self respecting Apple developer. However, in this instance it appears that there are some widely reported problems in Cupertino https://devforums.apple.com/thread/244310?tstart=0
We are keeping an eye on this...

"self respecting Apple developer"
That made me chuckle.
Thanks for that and for pointing us in a hopeful direction.

I wonder if PhoneGap CLI works since it's built locally. Maybe that means it partially uses the native SDK to build it locally? That could work.
