Hey everyone,
We've been hard at work and we're proud to add Windows Phone 7 to our family of platforms.
To get your new Windows Phone builds you may be required to rebuild your app; also please note that Windows Phone 7 builds will support Cordova versions 1.5.0 and above.
For a detailed break down of the new feature we have the following post:

Enjoy, and let us know how it goes!

Question...
Am I seeing things correctly? Windows builds do not need to be signed? I can just upload these to my phone for testing?

I too am seeing this; tried calling a public API. This works fine for Android or if I create a native PhoneGap based app in VS2010; just not in PhoneGap Build for WP7. It also works ok when as a hosted HTML site. Does PhoneGap Build somehow block this HTTP traffic for WP7?

No i can't check that on WP simulator because i have mac PC And i don't have idea about WP visual studio apps development platform.
i got Xap files from https://build.phonegap.com/.
And install build using WP build installation tool.

Hi,
Sounds like you have hit the same thing as we Windows /Android Developer have hit with iOS : needing a mac for the delpoyment..
You will need a Windows machine :-( yes it sucks that you can not stay on one platform.. the good thing is that you can use the emulator without using Visual Studio it is in the SDK.. But if you need to debug... you have to learn a little VS..
I feel with you , have just been through the same thing just revers.. Good thing is that PGBuild helps with all the other things...
Another Observation on WP porting.. things like Console and LocalStorage is implemented by PG so you can not call it until after the DeviceReady evemnt... MAYBE that is the same with your JSON call ??
Regards
Kim

HmMMMmMmm! I just created a demo Win app. Emailed it to my friend to test out and he got an error that the file wasn't recognized.
Am I missing something here?
Thanks,
Dax

Hi
As far as I have found would you have to set the phone as a Developer phone (This unfortunatly cost money but you have 3 devices included in your Dev. license) and use the Application Deployment tool to install the app generated by the build process.
If someone has found a way around this am I more than interrested hearing about it
Regards

Hello, i'm happy to build for WP7.
i'm registered today to Microsoft App Hub, and i submitted my first WP7 app... but
the System tell me that my app is in English but is not true, is in Italian.
So, i'm found this in the application submission checklist:
"In the XAP fle, you must be sure that the Neutral Language attribute has been set with the primary language of the app. It will be detected automatically when the XAP file is uploaded for submission."
Now, how can i set the app language in Build.phonegap? is there a string to use in the xml file?
thank you

Hey,
This is most likely because PhoneGap Build uses the default locales that a project comes with. We've setup locales on IOS however not for the other platforms. I will file this as a feature to implement.
I've added to our bug tracker; you can follow the issue here:
