Allow platform selection per project

When editing an app, allow selection of the target platforms. For example, I might only want Android until I've tested it on my device, then I'll bother building an iOS, test there, and add more platforms as desired and or required,

This is definitely on our roadmap. Our typical "intro" app that we point people to use with PhoneGap Build has a series of "platform" elements in its config.xml which we will leverage in the near future. This way, you'll be able to specify which platforms you want to build to.

Have a look at that project's config.xml here:

https://github.com/phonegap/phonegap-...

I'll attach this thread to our to-do task for platform selection, so when we deploy that out, I'll update this thread and let you know!

Sorry about that, we're doing our best to release as many features/fixes as we can!

Cheers,
Fil Maj

Don't be sorry, please! You guys are doing a superb job. Was just an idea to reduce server load and target intended platforms. Keep up the awesome work!

I noticed the platform elements and was puzzled that they didn't seem to have any effect.

However, I ended up thinking that it made sense to unconditionally build to all platforms during the beta step, since it should let you detect platform-specific problems sooner.

I have tried this in my apps, but it would seem the build ignores my request and merely builds for all target platforms.

Has there been an update? I am generating two separate packages (for iPhone and Android) in my build script to account for different sources (for example, a different version of phonegap.js). This would be pretty handy. :)

Would love to see this feature implemented as well. There are some platforms that I do not need to support at this time.

When is this feature going to be available please? For now, I am only interested in Android and Blackberry. Building for other platforms is like a waste of server time cuz I don't use them.

In another thread, you were asked to get listed at Cordova.
Instead, you keep going on here in the community.

How happy will forum denizens be to do business with a spammer like you?

This is not the place for you to promote your company or services so it's spam: "irrelevant or unsolicited messages sent over the Internet, typically to large numbers of users, for the purposes of advertising, phishing, spreading malware, etc."

I wish someone could remove your post.
