I'm almost done with first phonegap app. The PG app I built is better than the native app my company currently has.

There are other multi-platform systems, but no major ones that are straight webview. I almost didn't try phonegap, because of people's opinions like "it's slower than native", memory issues, and bugs. PG Build was so easy to get started, so I tried it anyway.

I'm using jQuery Mobile (sort of regret JQM), but overall the app works very well. The plugins are amazing as well.

I wouldn't even consider anything other than PG now, because it works so well. PG is the future.

I look forward to seeing it progress and become even better!

@Caleb,
welcome to Phonegap. The luck of the draw, and apparently, your skill made your first phonegap work. As you can see I am a volunteer. This is because Cordova is an Open Source project, and in turn so is Phonegap.

I can tell you two things. 1) Those stories you hear are from inexperience developer with NO inclination to work towards quality. I see dozens every day on Google Groups and Stackoverflow. 2) I, along with a select few, welcome you and sincerely hope that any future shortcomings you may find, will aid us in making Phonegap a superior product.

Best of Luck.
Jesse
