Capture with Symbian

We do want to write a multiplatform app which supports symbian as well and needs the capture feature. As far as I see there is no way to use the camera (capture) feature with symbian.
Will phonegap provide this feature for symbian as well?
If yes when will it be available?
Is there a roadmap for the features which are missing for certain mobile plattforms?

Hey iOS_Guy,

Symbian doesn't have support for the camera/capture api. PhoneGap will not be providing this feature.

You can view our roadmap projects over at http://wiki.apache.org/cordova/Roadma...

Hey,

thanks for your quick reply. The roadmap which I found with google was outdated ...

Also I'm sorry to learn that. I had thought that phonegap would provide such an api for the developers so that we had not to dig into hardware for taking pictures or videos ...

is symbian as a plattform still relevant for phonegap at all?

ciao
