Hi all,
We've now added support for the latest release of Cordova, 1.9.0, to PhoneGap Build. As with previous updates, new apps created will use this latest version by default, while your old apps will continue to build with a prior version of Cordova, until or unless you choose to update them.
Cordova 1.9.0 on Android introduces an incompatible plugin interface with prior versions of the framework. Because of this, we've needed to create a new release of the ChildBrowser plugin that works correctly. Here's a guide as to which version you should use:
Apologies if that's a little confusing - we just want to ensure everyone using PhoneGap Build has access to the plugin.
Cheers,
Andrew

Cordova 1.9.0 on Android introduces an incompatible plugin interface with prior versions of the framework. Because of this, we've needed to create a new release of the ChildBrowser plugin that works correctly. Here's a guide as to which version you should use:
- If you're still using PhoneGap 1.4.1 or below, use the 1.x version of the plugin
- If you're using Cordova 1.5.0, 1.6.1, 1.7.0 or 1.8.1, use the 2.x version of the plugin
- If you're creating a new app, using Cordova 1.9.0, use the 3.x version of the plugin
Apologies if that's a little confusing - we just want to ensure everyone using PhoneGap Build has access to the plugin.
