DisallowOverscroll is really needed on WP8, and other observations

I'm aware that no one around here really cares for Windows Phone support implementation because of their insignificant market share, and the webview engine is not quite polished.

That being said, compatibility (not support, which are different things) for building WP apps is there in PhoneGap Build, and I feel they are not taking care of essential features to make it more or less reasonably usable. In this case, the ability to prevent overscroll, present on the iOS platform since the dawn of Cordova is conspicuous by its absence.

I know the dev team at Microsoft may not be helping on this matter, but instead of turning the blind eye someone should take this matter seriously.

I have no time to enumerate the amount of problems and nuisances that the overscroll effect are creating on WP8, I'm using all my spare time to find a solution in every single blog, site and forum.

WP8.1 has a lot of potential, regardless of its lack of popularity, so try to make the best effort to add support for basic, essential features such as this. The more support you add, the less reasons we'll have to switch to native code.

Can you try rebuilding, specifying PhoneGap 3.7.0 in your config.xml file as the PhoneGap version used?

Tried it. The problem in screen 3 and 4 seems to be solved, but not 1 and 2.

In the browser this way of setting the footer (jQuery Mobile) works perfectly. So does it for Android and iOS. But when using it in Phonegap, these problems rise.

Help?

Can you confirm that this issue does not occur in the browser on Windows Phone 8.1?
