When I try to update my app, I get following error.

I dont have a problem when I create the app, but when i try to update my app, i constantly get this error.

For example:
Create app with Zip A --> No error
update app with same Zip A --> error

I already created a new index.html, copied everything in the folder to another folder. any idea?

Can you mail us the zip file upload to pgb.pubsupp@gmail.com then reply to us here? We'll check the upload and see whether the issue lies in the scripts or it's something else.

Hi Bert,

It seems like there's an issue with the PGB service trying to read your file. Could you try creating another zip file with another tool and reupload?

Also, which tool did you use to zip your app?

Could this be an issue, because my files are linked in TFS (microsoft source control), I already remove the read only attribute before zipping.
I zipped with winrar (windows 8.1 64bit)

Hi Yi Ming,

I see there are two threads on this subject, I've received no response on the other one so I figured I'd try this one as well.

Can anyone even explain what error [50] is supposed to represent? Certainly there must be some documentation somewhere.

Frankly I'm desperate and I'll take any clues I can get. I have an app that I wanted to produce through your tool and I don't see how we can go into production testing if we have to ask people to constantly delete the app, scan a QR code, and reinstall it every time we need to update code. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Hi Pablo,

This issue sometimes occurs when PGB has issues unpacking your app. You may need to compress your app's contents with another zip archiver instead.

Hi, I am having the same issue using gulp-zip. Here you are saying to use a different zip archiver but I don't know which one...I cannot use either Google Drive or Compress stuff from OSX...

I have a folder locally in my laptop which I would like to zip and send over PGB, any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi Yi Ming,

You were correct. Neither WinZip nor 7Zip worked properly (and having tried a second zip utility with the same result also threw me off.) When I used the "download" function in Google Drive or the "compress" function in OSX, it worked without incident.

Thanks for the response.

Sadly the same problem, and Google Drive zip did not work either. The strange thing is i have this on newly created apps. While the uploads are identical.
