I have one app with no more supported PGB 1.8.1. Is there a way downloading and installing newer versions of Phonegap Build without the need of command line operations? I am developing with NSBasic AppStudio and with Embarcadero HTML5 Builder. No idea how to tell these programs that they should use a newer PGB version.

You don't and can't download PhoneGap Build, it is "just" a service. When you upload your app, it's PhoneGap version is set by the file config.xml, that has to be part of your project.

I hope this helps.

Thanks a lot. This helps indeed. It confirms my experience.

Just to make clear why I asked anyway: When HTML5 Builder sends the package to Phonegap it builds and includes a config.xml where the version always is "1.8.1". Modifying config.xml to "2.9.0" did not help yet, neither replacing Embarcadero's cordova-1.8.1 jar and js files with their newer versions. I should put further questions with an Embarcadero forum.

Thanks again.
