Did you start the server?

What do you mean, start the server?

I have the app debug setting checked, and I enter the debug console by clicking "Debug" in the app console. Normally when I do this, the app target shows up and I can click it to monitor that specific app. Currently, targets never show up. Nothing shows. I've restarted my browser and rebuilt apps, and I still have no idea why it won't work.

Google: Weinre getting started

WEb INspector REmote

(...)
weinre is a debugger for web pages, like FireBug (for FireFox) and Web Inspector (for WebKit-based browsers), except it's designed to work remotely, and in particular, to allow you debug web pages on a mobile device such as a phone.
(...)

Running

For more information about running weinre, you can start the server and browse the documentation online.

Start the server with the following command

node weinre

This will start the server, and display a message with the URL to the server. Browse to that URL in your web browser, and then click on 'documentation' link, which will display weinre's online documentation. From there click on the 'Running' page to get more information about running weinre.

Yeah. Thanks I know it is there. I'll use that doc next time. Thanks.
I'm not sure about this OP.

All yours now. I'm getting some rest.

I too could not get weinre running using the outdated docs, GapDebug seems far superior - highly recommend!

Sorry... https://www.genuitec.com/products/gap...

It's free, came upon another post that mentioned this tool and it worked right off the bat, very helpful.

Jesse, I am using the web based version from Phonegap Build found at: https://debug2.phonegap.com/client/#p...

I've used it hundreds of times. Typically I open the page, open the app, and targets show up. They haven't been showing at all lately.

Perhaps it's time I install it on my machine or try GapDebug.

@Caleb,
Like I said, I don't use Weinre. However, Phonegap has been moving servers in the last few days. Keep trying, if you continue to get failure, I'll get more help.

Truthfully, I do more embedded than mobile, but my workflow also me to keep moving because I treat every piece of software like blackbox that I dissect. I don't expect others to use my workflow.

In the meantime, perhaps someone else has and idea.
