I'm creating an app where I need tweet an update, and I would like to be able to do this using the native twitter account on my phone for iOS/Android. Any way this is possible?

Hi Ruben,
As of writting there is no available Twitter plugin (3rd party or PhoneGap itself).
Alternatively, for PhoneGap/Cordova framework or programming related inquires, please continue at the following URL/channel:

Well then this is something that your team should be heavily be investing in. This is too important to just ignore.

@Ruben The PhoneGap Build team generally don't write or maintain plugins ourselves. Our focus is on providing the compilation service -- the Cordova plugin landscape is something that is managed and provided by the open-source community.

I haven't tried it, and it uses InAppBrowser, which is now part of the phonegap API.

Thanks Abe, but i meant a plugin that connects natively with twitter settings on the phone itself.

If you want the user to be able to manipulate the tweet before posting, you can use the 3.6 version of the SocialSharing plugin. It has an option to skip the share widget and go straight to Twitter.
It's pending approval at phonegap build though. If you're building offline, you can give it a spin via https://github.com/EddyVerbruggen/Soc...
