I'm having problems with my iOS .ipa file - it won't install on my iPad or iPhone although I don't get any errors when I generate the file in PhoneGap Build. When I try to add the downloaded ipa file to my iPhone I can see the icon image on screen and it just says "installing..." but doesn't get any further. When I try to add the file to my iPad it says I need "newer iPad software" but my software is up to date. Can anyone help please?
Could it be to do with my config file?

- Did you include your devices in your mobileprovision file?
- Are you perhaps trying to install an app signed for distribution/release?

Thanks so much for your quick response, Yes, I've double checked the devices are on the mobileprovision file. The certificate is signed for testing on specific devices.
Not sure what else to try.

Please ensure the following:
1- Certificate is still valid (not expired)
2- Use only development certificate and development provisioning profile
3- When generating development provisioning profile, ensure to select a right AppID.
4- Ensure device UUID has been added to provisioning portal.
5- When generating development provisioning profile, ensure to select a right AppID.
Hope that helps

Same problem. iOS builds only install on new devices. Older (not much) ipad mini, ipad 2, etc. won't install. I have an ipad air 2 - no problem installing a build.
YES - the certs are in place. YES - the provisions are correct. YES the UDID's are proper. Please no suggestions of the obvious.
This IS A MAJOR ISSUE with either PhoneGap Build or Apple or both in regards to compatibility. EVERYONE without a brandnew apple iOS device I've certified and provisioned has the same problem -
Recognizes the app, attempts to load, (either in iTunes or phonegap download) and hangs up near the end - just spinning, or a persistent "INSTALLING" message.

@Jon,
since you got a successful install on one device, I am going to suggest that your issue is NOT the same as this thread. Can you start a new thread? If you are on a desktop or laptop, on the top right you will see this thread marked "Answered". Because of this, most volunteers will avoid this.
Please start a new thread. Use the same text, but please add more detail to the 3rd and 4th paragraph.
TIA
Jesse
