Many people have been working with phonegap-facebook-plugin. It was deprecated about about a month ago. So this conflict was hard to spot. This plugin was previously known as com.phonegap.plugins.facebookconnect
To be clear, many, many people upgrade and then their app worked. It seemed logical that applying the new plugin and maybe (sometimes) the
Vatsal is pointing out in this SO post that if a "Facebook Native App" is installed, his app will not work. I take it that "Facebook Native App" means either an app written by Facebook _OR_ another app that also uses facebook-plugin (which also works on Android).
The only work around he has found is to uninstall the offending app.

whitelist plugin is all that was needed. But this bug was stubborn. I attributed the failure to a lack of attention by the developer, but i was *WRONG*.
