Hi Christian

Please ensure you've downloaded and converted .p12 certificate from 'Distribution' tab at the provisioning portal. This .p12 should then be paired with Provisioning Profile downloaded from 'Distribution' tab. To be safe, create a wildcard AppId to be used by Distribution Provisioning Profile

Last but not least, verify that your cert uploaded to Build is still valid not yet expired.

Hope that helps

I use the correct distribution certificate and distribution provisioning profile and still I'm getting this error: Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an iPhone Distribution Certificate.

I need some advise to resolve this issue.

Most of the errors mentioned in this forum I've faced them and I'm still suffering to bring up one simple HTML page works on my device, and there is no clear documentation (not the existing complicated one) nor a video step by step to explains how to use PhoneGap (I have to search youtube to find some examples)

The Phonegap site need a lots of improvement, or at least a hint next to each information to be more clear

Example:
It was too hard to find out where to insert the key information once you register.
while asking a p12 certificate or provisioning profile ( at least mention which profile, development of distribution)

Sorry to tell you this, but I found learning Objective-C and XCode was much easier to deep in PhoneGap. Thanks to Lynda.com for the super easy course.

We tried several times to compile an ipa that would be acceptable for the App Store of Apple via the cloud of PhoneGap. But at some point we decided to create an XCode project from the sources of the app and compile it locally. As expected we had no problems via that route. We expected that, because we never had any problem with other apps we compiled locally in the first place. The cloud doesn't give problems for Ad Hoc compilations or for the iOS Developer Enterprise Program.

I suppose a few minutes, but I'm not sure. A colleague did this for me because I don't have Apple equipment. We first tried several other options in the cloud, concerned with the certificate, while on the telephone. Later, in the evening, he tried the XCode route as planned, as a last resort. I don't know if this extra step via XCode makes much difference, because I need him anyway for uploading the ipa to Apple, which is impossible without Apple equipment. Because of the response of Craig Gundlach 20-3-2013 I plan to try the route without XCode again.

I was able to solve this by first making sure my certificate was for deployment and then matching the id in the config.xml to the one I had in the provisioning profile. and BOOM uploaded to iTunes Connect!

Hope this helps!
