Hey everyone,
Just wanted to post a quick update and let you guys know that starting late last night, the web application got hung up processing and updating beta codes for the signup process. This caused the signup process on the server to freeze and take up a chunk of memory on the server. This process also runs hourly, so slowly, over the course of the night, the PhoneGap Build server ran out of memory and finally crapped out this morning.
We had some downtime this morning and also had to manually restart the application building processes, so some of your apps may be hung up in a "Queued" state from last night or this morning. Please try updating your app or re-submitting it; the app builds should be working smoothly as of a few minutes ago.
Moving forward, we will likely rework the way beta signup codes are processed so that we don't encounter this problem again, and are going to integrate CPU and memory monitoring on the build server(s) so that we have a better idea of the state of PhoneGap Build at any time.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know!
Happy app building!
Cheers,
Fil Maj
EDIT: Oh yeah, the most important part: until we resolve this issue, we won't be sending out new beta codes as frequently as before. Those keeners out there eager to get in: please be patient with us as we work to fix the issue and get you guys in ASAP!
