I am constantly getting this error "Unable to import Certificate" whereas I was able to build my app successfully one month ago. I just uploaded a fresh ZIP source. What is wrong ?

Hi Olivier,

Can you post the app ID of the affected app? Also, is the current build based on your latest code?

Thanks !

Hi Olivier,

The iOS signing key is locked. Go to https://build.phonegap.com/people/edit and on the Signing Keys tab, click the unlock button on the iOS certificate and key in the certificate password.

Please try uploading your certificate again, making sure that you supply the correct credentials.

Hi Steve,

Can you verify that the iOS cert you uploaded was built according to our documentation? http://docs.build.phonegap.com/en_US/signing_signing-ios.md.html#iOS%20Signing

We'll try to simulate this error on our end in the meantime.

Yes, that is exactly how I did it. I printed out your instructions, and followed them on my Mac. I did it multiple times, with the same issues.

The iOS cert was working perfectly one month ago ...
I made another try after unlocking the key again, no change.

Just a wild guess: could it be that somehow the widget id in config.xml was recently mistyped, so it doesn't match with your .mobileprovison anymore?

My widget id is OK in config.xml.
I tried updating my widget version but no change.

I thought that the app ID was the issue, but after verifying, I have it entered correctly. So I am still getting the error. I have been able to compile in the past, but now it is still giving me the Import Certificate Error.

Another wild guess: could it be that the certificate has been revoked and/or is not valid anymore (> 1 year old)?

I created a fresh new account on Apple Dev Center a few weeks ago and then got a new cert. It's not old at all.

Interestingly, you get the same error if the password is typed incorrectly. But that doesn't seem to fix it if the password is right.

Is it really not possible to fix this error?

Now it actually worked when I created a new Android certificate. Even though the other certificate didn't have any problems earlier.

Can you try deleting the key on PGB and then adding it again?
