Usability concerns: config.xml and more (Edit / Details)

Hi,
I got a lesson the other day about the need for the W3C config.xml widget declaration. I understood that it wasn't necessary to include it with the source files (in the root together with index.html) as there was other configuration options with PhoneGap build. Well I did understand that but not actually how having it or not having it included would manifest itself. If you do include the config.xml file you will not be able to configure manually at "admin / Edit / Details" and youll se the fields filled in and greyed out. Even though further down on the page you'll be able to read something like: "app configuration controlled by config.xml" it is not obvious why the fields in the form are disable. I think we could be a little more explicit here.

Another thing that is sort of annoying is at the "admin / Edit / Details" where there is an upload field for the phone app "icon": To the right of the field there is a "browse" button and beneath it an "Upload" button and below the form you'll se the "Save" button. Now, if you browse to your icon and then hit the "Upload" button, PhoneGap build will build even though you have not completed the rest of the fields. To me this "Upload" button is confusing and unnecessary, more logical is that the "Save" button completes the actions on this page, that is taking care of all data and the image at once.

Regards
/Ralf

Hey Ralf, great observations. We'll make both of those changes; hopefully you'll see them soon.

Please don't hesitate to share any other usability concerns!
