I am trying to upgrade a build to be windows 10 compatible, but keep getting errors about 'Cannot import the key file 'CordovaApp_TemporaryKey.pfx' for various cordova plugins?
I reported it last week, but haven't had any response? Has anyone else had any problems?

Yes, fine.
But what version of Phonegap Build are you building with?

I haven't uploaded a windows developer key, but you didn't have to with windows phone 8. Could that be the issue?

Although the error message from the build just is the 'Oh geez. Your build failed. Sorry, but a problem occurred on the build server'

Sorry!

PhoneGap (iOS / Android / Windows)
cli-6.1.0 (4.1.0 / 5.1.1 / 4.3.1)

Is that what you mean?

Yes, that would be correct.
Do you have both index.html and config.xml in the root of your zip file?

EDIT:
...and have you followed

I included the target platform, but i haven't set up a .pfx certificate. Do you now need to do that in order to get the build?

I'm not sure (I don't do Win10 myself, so I can't speak from experience).
Reading the Blog, it looks like you don't have to sign as long as you're not distributing.

I have seen reported, though, that omitting
<preference name="windows-arch" value="anycpu" />
results in errors.

And perhaps you missed this:
Do you have both index.html and config.xml in the root of your zip file?

Both index.html and config.xml are in the root. I have added the architecture line and see how it goes...

I wonder about the error message in your OP. You said it appears "for various plugins"...but how is the error related to plugins, and which 'various' ones are you referring to?

I was messing around removing plugins to see if it built and it would give a similar message about the missing file for a different plugin each time.

However seems the power of twitter and the other adobe forum works and it's now building.

Keep an eye on the server status in case of more trouble.
It's currently down again.

@Felicity,
Since this is your first post, please answer the following question:
- is this your first hybrid app?
- are you using Desktop App?
- are you using CLI, Build, or SDK? Please do not assume the answer, please read the link.

Thanks
Jesse

1. Yes
2. Desktop app
3. build

I have config.XML and index.HTML in the correct place. I have the windows 10 build line for 6.1.0, but no architecture preference at the moment.

Previously it built fine for windows 8 platform. It did build yesterday morning but is now failing again.

Unfortunately, although PGB proudly announced "Windows builds", they failed to update their status page at http://status.build.phonegap.com/ , so you can't see what the Windows build server is doing....only Winphone is shown.

@Felicity,
it appears you know there is a difference between Desktop App and Phonegap Build. You should know It is not intended for full app development. It is not intended to produce a final product. I highly suggest you discontinue use of Desktop App. It's usually only leads to confusion.

On your issue, Windows 10 is in Beta and has been subjected to numerous issues and drawbacks. You stated you reported an issue with the "key file" last week. Could you point to where you pointed that issue? the PR or message?

You also stated that your Windows 8 version was building previously, but has recently failed. Is the Windows 8 still failing?

Thanks
Jesse
