    Good morning Esther,

The Jump feature allows you to remember a position within your document (i.e. the page and the zoom level you are viewing at) and then "jump" back to this at a later time.

The available locations to "jump" to are available by clicking on the Page 1/1 tab at the bottom left of the screen.

To add a new position you can click on the small jump "+" icon from within the jump view. This will remember the current view and insert it as a thumbnail for easier recognition.

If you capture a web page into your notes then you can also "jump" to the original URL by entering view only mode (click the small icon showing a page with eyelashes at the bottom right of the screen) and then pressing on the captured web-page. The original URL will open in your web-browser.

If you have any other questions please let us know!

    Many thanks, Ben.

  • How can I rearragne the sequence of Jumps after I have captured them?

My *suspcet* would be the icon second from left in the bottom left corner with the 3 pages - but alas it does lead to any reaction.
So what is this icon for?
And how can I move the sequence of jumps?

    Thanks, Cornelia

I can move a page many times.
It seems that a focused page is not easy to grab. After tapping any other page, please grab a target page to move.

"Select Mode" is used to manipulate multiple pages.
It allows you to remove many pages at once.

The icon is used to switching to the view only mode.
You cannot write on the screen.
If you write any URL (http description) on the note, the web browser (Safari on iOS) will appear to open the target URL.

      Toshi
    • Thanks, Toshi!
Now I got the trick, I think: I need to stay tapped on the jump-link until it turns grey and only then I can move to rearrange.
If I just tap and want to do that immediately it will not react.

  • I was slow to learn this jump function because I could mistakenly add a page in the middle of creating jumps.
It is better to learn making some jumps to the corners of a single page, and see that they work.
Then add a page and some object on it, go back to the first page, and add a jump to the 2nd page location to the stack of jumps.

A jump seems to be like a bookmark to a position on a page.
If the NA page has been stretched to the max, a viewer would not have to scroll around, but could follow a pre-established tour of jumps to different parts of the large page.

With shared usage of a NA file, could the viewer become a creator, adding content to a patch on the large document?

The Jump page info inside a note will be exported.
After you import the note, you will be able to add content.

The iOS app has a function named "Shared Drive" to share notes among users.
Using the feature, the users ca share notes with Jump pages and edit them.
This function will be added to the Android apps in the next major release (3.0).
