Crashing 7note premium

I've recently downloaded the 7note premium - handwriting app for ipad mini running the new iOs8 - while it works for a while, intermittently it crashes symptoms are that the magnifying note window continuously jumps and I'm then unable to make any changes to the document or indeed operate any of the buttons on the screen - do you have any suggestions? It ruins the functionality of an otherwise excellent app
