I’m frustrated

Export or print multiple notes to pdf.

I want to select a group of notes and in one step either export to pdf or print to pdf. I want each of the notes to end up as a different pdf file although it would be acceptable if they were all put into one file. This can be on either iOS or Windows, I have both apps. I have Note 3 for Business. I currently have around 150 files so opening and exporting each one is very tedious.

    Hi Steve,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.
There is no way to export multiple notes as PDF.
There is no plan to add such function at this moment.

You have MetaMoJi Note on iOS and Windows 10.
    Right?
Why do you need to export your notes as PDF?
With your devices on iOS and Windows, you can open your notes via the MetaMoJi Cloud.

    Best regards,
    Toshi

  • I want to export to 1) share with others who do not use MetaMoJi products and 2) do full text searches. Notes only seems to search on the note, tag and folder names. You have the software infrastructure to do this with multiple note selection and with an export to PDF function. Speed is not important, it would be fine to start it and leave it overnight.

    • Well then the PDF can't be used for searches as I hoped. The text should be text in the PDF. With the current functionality, is there anyway to do a full text search on the content of all notes? Also, is there anyway to get the text out of the program as text? If you are not going to invest in a full set of features inside the program then you need to provide ways for people to get the text out. In my case, almost all of my notes are full of simple text, very little formatting and even less graphics.

You can search notes with text units from the Magnifier icon on the Notes List screen > [With Text] > [Text Units].
Inside a note, the Settings icon (looks like four short horizontal bars) > the Magnifier icon.

  • I’m confused
On the Notes list screen > Magnifier icon, I do not have that choice. See attached image. I am running Note 3 for Business 3.9.2 on iOS 10.3.1

  • I would also love the capability to export multiple notes into PDFs. I can do this with the Squid app. It doesn't matter to me how big the files get.

    • Thanks for the information. Importing PDFs is not the issue. My customers and co-workers don't have Metamoji Note, so the shared drive folder doesn't help. eYACHO is interesting, but I won't be able to get hundreds of people to use it.. Until you update your app to do mass export without crashing and add active stylus support, I'll have to stop giving you money and give it to the Squid app. Thanks anyway! I'll check back in a year or so.
    • I see. If you have purchased the app recently, we will be able to give you back the refund.
Please send your purchase number from the Google Play Store to support_anytime@metamoji.com.
