In windows 8 when a file with the atdoc extension is opened from explorer thus opening NoteAnytime and loading the subject file, would it be possible to have the "save as" dialog default to the file's current location and name?

    Hi James,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

When you tap "Save File", you are asked which file format (JPEG or ATDOC) is used. And then you can specify the file name.
I think it is the same function.

    Best regards,
    Toshi

I'm picking the atdoc file format. When it gets to the spot where you specify the filename and location, I am asking if those values could please default to the name and location of the file that was opened by double-clicking on it in MS Explorer. Right now it appears to default to the last location opened using Note Anytime's menus not the location and name of the file currently being edited. This can't be behavior anyone wants. It must just be an oversight. Please!

      Hi James,
Note Anytime does not edit the ATDOC file when you open it with MS Explorer. It is imported in the app.
Once a note is imported, the note file is stored in a different hidden folder with a different format.
      Thank you for your understanding,
      Toshi

When you close a note, it is automatically stored in a local folder; the folder is not opened to users.
Please use "Save File" for backing up your notes if you don't use our storage cloud "Digital Cabinet".

Alright. So when I open the atdoc file in MS Explorere, Note Anytime is actually importing the file and when I "Save File" and choose the atdoc format, it is actually exporting it. Fine. When the file is imported, could you grab the filename and location information and put them wherever the defaults in the "Save File" dialog are coming from so that when I "Save File" (export) it is automatically to the original name and location (unless I deliberately choose an alternative location)?
