    Hi Dino,

    Thank you for your feedback.

On iPad, if you have installed the Google Drive app, you will be able to store your notes in your Google Drive folders.

You can export your note as described in the following post (this is a Dropbox case):
    https://getsatisfaction.com/noteanyti...

If you save your notes in the Note Anytime format, you will be able to retrieve them from Google Drive.

I will keep watching the iCloud request for future release.

    Kind regards,
    Toshi

  • Thanks Toshi for the reply. This method works great if you want to export to a read only format. The disadvantage is that you have to manually export the document after each change.

What would be great would be to have a google drive connection natively built in like good reader type apps and be able to save directly to google drive. That way the document is stored in the cloud and any changes made from a tablet or remote computer is in sync.

I find 7notes the best app for note taking but when it comes to keeping notes updated and accessible from other devices its time consuming to have to always export the note from 7notes and there isn't an easy way to get the edits back into 7notes if done externally.

If you could save directly to google drive, the edit the notes from google drive and then go back to the app on the ipad and have your changes updated would make this app an even better productivity tool.

    Thanks

I would concur and promote the suggestion of being able to save automatically into Google Drive. We are a GAFE (Google Apps For Education) school and are now an iPad 1:1 within our high school. We use NoteAnytime exclusively for note taking as our teachers send out some of their docs in .pdf to our students. If the implementation of seeing your Google Drive was available in NoteAnytime this would make things simpler and streamline the workflow between our teachers and students. We use Google Drive to share/collaborate between students/teachers and it proves to be difficult if when changes need to be made and I have to manually push it into Google Drive again. Something to consider. Otherwise the app is a great annotating app as well as notes app for the majority of our students.

  • I am adding my vote to this idea as well. We also use Google Apps for Education and would like to see this implemented. Also, iCloud sync option would be nice.

  • Hi Guys,

In the coming iOS version, exporting a note to Google Drive will be added.
Importing MS Office files via Google Drive has been implemented in our Share Anytime app (http://shareanytime.com/).
This feature will be added to Note Anytime, too.

    Regards,
    Toshi

Agree! You want to see this explode in the US? 2 way/synch and your collaboration app on Google drive and you would own the market. Google drive is already used to share and store in so many places here. Almost all of my stuff is there. Apple has its proprietary cloud too... I have an e-mail from them saying they cut their prices almost 3/4... that ship sailed a long time ago.

It would be cool if we could import pdf's directly from google drive on androaid.

  • Hi there,

I see this is a feature many users have wished for in the past. I would like to see ability to import all notes as pdfs in one click to be saved on a computer for backup purposes, at the very least for paid users. This is a big feature many of us in the US really care about as all other apps allow some sort of backup mechanistic.

I love the basis of this app, and want to use this app for all my personal needs, but as this company is not a tech giant like google, who will always be here, I am worried that there will be a day where the company could shut down this app or the cloud , and all my data is lost. From the English articles, I cannot tell if this app is very popular outside of the US, and in actuality similar to a tech giant like google where users will not have to worry about services being discontinued. Apologies if you are indeed such a large company.

And perhaps these features are not needed in the company's perspective. If that is so, can you please explain the Company's reasoning?

    Thank you!
    • Hi Jenn,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
Our program to export a note as PDF is poor. If a note has 100 pages, the exported note may become a 100MB file. Such a heavy process should stop for multiple notes.
This is because each page of a note is converted to an image file. A PDF file generared from our app is a collection of image files.
I cannot support such a fragile function.
I always ask our dev team to change the program.
      Toshi
    • I stopped my Gold Service because of no mass PDF export function and no support for active stylus (no palm rejection or finger rejection when writing). Squid is currently getting my money because they offer this. I am using a Samsung Note 9 and HP Chromebook X2, both with an active stylus.
