    Hi Agus,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

There is no way to store your note directly in a local area on Android.
Please save it via other apps (Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, etc.) from [Send to Application].

    Thank you for your understanding,
    Toshi

  • Toshi,

You guys have an excellent app for taking notes, but something needs to be done to be able to set where your files are stored. I need to be able to save my files to my external sd card so they don't us up the internal memory of my galaxy tab that is meant for programs. Is this ability being worked on or is it a dead issue?

    • Hi Toshi. Just a comment on this. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 with S Pen and even though I follow the steps you've given, exporting to the SD card produces a failure every time. I suspect this is a Samsung problem. I have gone into application manager and set permissions to on for MetaMoji to write the SD Card but it still fails. It seems the only work around is to integrate the SD card into the internal memory which is described in the article. http://www.phonearena.com/news/How-to...
      Thanks,

    Bonjour,
Est-il possible de faire une sauvegarde générale de mes notes sur ma carte SD? Je n'ai pas trouvé la fonction.
    Merci

  • Toshi. Sorry to bother you. But further to this issue of exporting files. I have found the work-around as I described above. However I actually run a course for therapists here in London on changing to Electronic Patient Note taking. My preference is MetaMoji notes and the Samsung Tab A 9.7 with S Pen. Works brilliantly except for one major problem. MetaMoji notes only installs on a devices internal menu and all files/notes are stored on internal memory. As you can imagine, after a couple of years of notes, internal memory starts to run out!!! I can get around it by setting up adopted memory using the SD card as mentioned above and using the export option. But there is a limit on setting this up for the 8 people I teach (8 new people each month) as the procedure is quite technical and needs use of the command prompt on a laptop.
Even though your cloud is great it still only syncs to files on internal memory. So to make your notes viable long term it really needs the ability to export archived files somewhere other than your current option which is to internal memory. i.e. export to a cloud storage allowing a user to back-up archived files. I know you can do this via the "share" option. But again this is just fiddly as you have to open a file then share it then go back and delete that file to free up internal memory. Please please add the ability to export bulk files in the same manner as you can "share" one file. You will then see your use of the paid version rocket from my students!
    thanks a mil,
    Steve

  • Toshi. Have now purchased a new Samsung Tab with S pen. the option no longer exists to adopt the SD card as internal memory. I have so many files I am now at the stage where my internal memory of the tablet is running out. Have you made any progress in saving files to SD card or allowing archived files to save to the cloud rather than internal memory. This is urgent now!! Please reply.
    Thanks,

    • Hi Toshi. Ok. At the moment about 15 therapists. In London as that is where I'm based. There is a lot of interest as most therapists still use paper based patient files. Moving to something like Metamoji notes and a tablet with S-Pen is a revolution to therapists. However, as a rule they are not generally very technologically adept. Therefore the app needs to be as simple to set-up, use and maintain as possible.
I think your suggestions re shared drive archiving will work fine. Can I bring up the topic of palm/finger rejection option again? :-).
P.s. I'm just about to make another video to distribute to therapists regarding Electronic Patient note taking and the use of Metamoji to do it. Used to use S-Notes as an option but they have completely lost the plot and that App is pretty much unuseable now for our purposes. Which makes your PDF import really really fantastic as can bring all those legacy notes into Metamoje!!
So just to end, thanks, good job and really appreciate you engaging in this discussion.

      Thank you, Steve.
Regarding palm/finger rejection, our dev team told me that they could not support the function because there are so many device models in the Android OS.

I am very interested in the video.
Can I watch the video if possible?
"another" means that you have already created a video?

Many thanks and enjoy MetaMoJi Note!
