I’m undecided

Need a Comparison for Windows apps.

What are differences in Note Anytime, Note Anytime Lite, and Note Anytime Premium? I have a Surface Pro and would like to have a good Idea of which is which. I noticed Lite is free and Note Anytime is discounted to $1.99 while Premium is $24.99. Huge difference there so what is the difference.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Note Anytime Premium ($24.99) includes handwriting recognition for 13 languages (English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, and Korean).
If you install language packages for target languages, handwriting recognition will be available.

The following features are missing in the free version:
    - Convert to text (outside text boxes) - available if you have a handwriting recognition add-on
    - Highlighter pen
    - Fountain pen
    - Blush
    - Password protection
    - Bullets in text unit
    - Increase/Decrease indent in text unit
    - Color wheel (to select an ink color)

    Kind regards,
    Toshi

Thank you Toshi for the reply however, I still am not clear as to what the differences there are between the free and Premium as compared to the $1.99 version on Windows store. Also if you purchase Premium are you then charged for anything else that is added (if there are other things to add) and does that $24.99 price cover updates or will one be expected to repurchase or upgrade when later features are added.

No offense Toshi but I really think your group needs to think about it's marketing. The web site does not make clear what are the reasons for purchasing over not purchasing.

    Case in point from your own Questions area I point you to the following topic;

I am using Windows 8.1. The Windows App Store has Note Anytime Lite (free), Note Anytime ($7.99), and Note Anytime Premium ($24.99). What is in the $7.99 version that is not in the free version? And what additional is there in the $24.99 version?

I would like to know what the difference is for the 3 versions of Note Anytime. I checked your blog and someone else asked the same question, but there was no reply. I purchased the 7.99 version and it appears to be the same as the free version. How do I get a refund or a reduced price on the premium version?

  • Hello. I submitted the question above. The explanation above does not answer my question. T
You are comparing the free version (Notes Anytime Lite) with the premium version ($24.99). What is not being addressed is the Notes Anytime that cost $7.99. What is the difference between the free version and the $7.99 version? An explanation would be appreciated.

      Hi Fran,

As I answered above, the paid version ($7.99) includes the following features that are missing in the free version:

      - Convert to text (outside text boxes) - available if you have a handwriting recognition add-on
      - Laser Pointer (I forgot to write in my answer above)
      - Highlighter pen
      - Fountain pen
      - Blush
      - Password protection
      - Bullets in text unit
      - Increase/Decrease indent in text unit
      - Color wheel (to select an ink color)

  • Thank you, I think. So now that you have answered what is not in the free version, would you please state what IS included in the 24.99 premium version that would justify more than doubling the cost of the $7.99?

    Please be specific.

As I described above, Note Anytime Premium ($24.99) includes handwriting recognition for 13 languages (English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, and Korean).

Each add-on costs $7.99 when you purchase it for the Note Anytime paid version.

  • So if I ́m correct you buy the normal note anytime and you can upgrade it for only a small amount of money, or do you need to buy the premium right away?
I now own the free version, but I would like to have handwrighting recognition as well. Is the normal version enough, or do I need the premium version?

    • Oh and one more question, maybe not that relevant but I would like to ask for this (becouse you never know what the awnser will be).
Becouse I'm a chemistry teacher I have to draw a lot of chemical structures (wich are never as pretty as in a official textbook). It would be so neat when there was an chemistry recognition as well... for example like water (dihrogynoxide) I would draw H - O - H and the program would make the right angles for it and the exact same hight for every letter that's written.
This is probably not what you made the program for, but maybe it opens a whole new market for you?

      Hi Manon,
Could you create a new post for these new questions?
It is different from the original question.
      Thank you,

I am evaluating Note Anytime Lite on Windows 8.1. There are two paid versions available, Note Anytime & Note Anytime Premium.

Do you have a matrix comparing the capabilities of each edition.
