  • Hi Sam,

    Sorry you're having trouble.

With our latest Mac driver (version 3.3.3), it will support the 10.11 OS. To be safe, you can download and install it once more by clicking the link below:

    Mac OSX Driver 3.3.3

At times, especially after operating system upgrades, MIDI devices can act a bit strange on a Mac computer. If it is still not showing up within Serato after the driver installation, you will want to go into the Audio MIDI Setup menu of your computer (you can search for this in the Spotlight search for easier access).

In this menu, does the NS7II show up as an audio device? If so, the computer is seeing it just fine which is great! The next thing we would want to do is go up top and press Window>Show MIDI Studio.

The NS7II will show up in there, but the preference could potentially be corrupt. In here, you will want to create a New Configuration which you can rename to whatever you'd like, and it will refresh the MIDI preference for your controller. Once this is complete, open up Serato DJ once more to see if your controller loads up properly.

    I hope this helps!

  • OK there are 2 Numark names in my Audio Midi Setup

    Numark USB (Bit Accurate)
    Numark USB (Core Audio)

Neither of which i can remove.

When I go to the "Show Midi Studio" I dont see :New Configuration" All I see is a Keyboard with a Plus Sign. And I cannot delete the Numark icon.

    So whats the real fix?

  • This is what my Serato looks like when I launch it. I have no decks or functions. Just the library portion.

  • Hi Sam,

To see both of the Numark USB options, this is great because we at least know that your computer is seeing your NS7II perfectly fine. In the MIDI Studio, You will see Configuration>Default, and this is where you will want to change it from Default to New Configuration. Here is a screenshot to show you where it is:

Once you create a new configuration, it will refresh the Numark NS7II MIDI Configuration. A lot of times, this will resolve cases where your computer can see a controller but Serato cannot.

    I hope this helps!

  • I did that and it still doesnt work. Created the new profile.

I also reinstalled everything from scratch
    1. Serato
    2. Numark 3.3.3
    3. Numark firmware.

So now what do I do?

Can you team viewer a machine and reset it?
