Can't separate audio to headphones

I always get the music in the speakers. I can get the music in the headphones at the same time as the speakers, but not only in my headphones. Is this some setting i need to fix? Both speakers and headphones are plugged into the controller.

  • Hi Simon,

    Thanks for posting.

Can you please provide me with your full system specs, as well as the version of Serato DJ Lite you're using with your controller?

It sounds like you may not be routing your audio through your controller properly. Note, the Cue Mix knob will allow you to change how your audio is routed through your controller. When set all the way to the right, this will allow you to hear the music from your mains. If the knob is all the way to the left, this will allow you to hear the music through your headphones.

Please also try using another USB port on your computer, as well as a different USB cable.

Do you see the LEDs on the controller illuminate when you move the channel sliders up and play a song?
    • Serato dj lite version 1.0.5
      Windows 10 Pro version 1803
Both the master cue and split cue buttons are checked in serato.
The leds bounce up and down when playing a song yes. I can get the sound out of my speakers, and i can get the song in my headphones at the same time. But i can't make any of the tracks play in the headphones only. It seems to me like the small button with the headphones on does nothing.

  • Please review my response above. You will need to use the cue mix knob to adjust where the audio is heard from.
