Is there a way to adjust the jog wheel response on the Mixtrack Pro II?

Hello I have a Numark Mixtrack Pro 2 and was wondering is there any way to tighten the spinback response in Serato DJ Intro.

  • Hello,

Thanks for the post. No, you cannot adjust the platter physically on the Mixtrack Pro II. What seems to be your issue anyways?

  • When beat juggling or phrase chopping, the slight pull backs tend to be long or advance too far back in the track. I thought that there may be a setting to eliminate this by making the waveform consistent with the jog wheel motion or vice versa. I barely even pull the jog wheel back and notice the waveform is off. To eliminate this I've had to stop the waveform by placing my hand on the jog wheel. Seems a little extra work. I have tried this on competitor's entry level product and this problem doesn't exist.

  • I'm using a MacBook Pro and buffer latency in Serato DJ down to 1 ms without any dropout issues. The jog wheel has a split second delay between fwd playback on the screen and jogwheel stopping. It should be a snappy and tight response. I spin the jogwheel back slightly with one finger and as it slows down i glance at the screen and the waveform slows down to a stop and then plays fwd. I tried this using other equipment such as Pioneer entry level and it doesn't have this problem. I went to guitar center and tried out their mixtrack pro 2 using their macbook pro and had the same problem.
