macOS 10.15 support and the future.

I want to know if Numark is working on 64-bit drivers to replace many of the 32-bit drivers for there slightly older yet still quite modern controllers. I have an NS7 II and honestly I haven't the money to replace it yet. But also I do wish to (once Serato is ready), to move to the new macOS coming out this fall. I feel like Numark was given ample warning aabout this as Apple publicly announced this was going to occur with last years OS release, but I have found Numark to be slow to get the ball moving regardless even though many of their customers rock Mac computers. What does everyone think?

  • Hi Nicholas,

    Thanks for posting.

We have not made any announcements yet regarding the new Mac operating system or driver updates. Any updates, once made available, will be made on the product page at numark.com. You may also sign up for our newsletter on our website to be in the know for any and all updates.

    I hope this helps!

  • I know but this issue was announced a year ago for Mojave. It seems like Numark is last minute reactionary instead of ever proactive about these things and it’s beginning to get aggravating. A lot of these things could be handled better.

  • I also understand that you haven't made an announcement I would like to know when one might be made as every other product manufacture on the planet that supports Apple products has at least tweeted some of their intent... I would just like to know that the controller I just acquired two years ago is not going to be made obsolete based on decisions by Numark to not update their software when in fact they have plenty of notice to be working on these things and they are never ready upon the completion of Apple's beta testing which would indeed be a good time to work on these things.
