I’m sad

My mixtrack pro sensitivity jog wheel not working in scratch mode

My controller mixtrack pro by pressing the scratch button does not feel my touch on the jogs, would anyone have any idea how to fix it? Somebody help me I'm a Hip Hop DJ, i need the scratch!

    Thanks for posting. 

    Can you please provide me with your full system specs, as well as the version of Serato DJ you're using with your controller?

    Since the platters are touch capacitive, make sure that you're properly grounded. This is essential in order for the platters to function properly. If you're DJing in a highly-carpeted area or if your strip search is not properly grounded, a symptom like this could occur. 

    I recommend not to DJ on a carpet or a highly carpeted area when you're using the controller. I recommend using a surge protector instead of a power strip. Make sure that every plug that you're connecting to your surge protector is grounded (connectors have 3 prongs). Lastly, try the controller in a different room or with a different computer to see if you experience the same symptoms. Try this out then let me know how it goes.

  • good, I use windows 10 64 bit, virtual DJ 8.2, I tried on another computer and the problem continues when I press the scratch button the music stops scratch and does not continue the music and when I put my hand on top of the jogs as it should, would it have any solution?
