Needle jumps.

I have a new TTUSB and the needle keeps jumping because the platter has a movement just like another costumer has described in this topic: http://community.numark.com/numark/to...
The topic is marked as solved mark but I want to know how was solved to determine if I have to send the turntable to service. Thank you.

  • Hi Luis,

Sorry you're having problems with your TTUSB. I'll be happy to help!

Follow this guide here to ensure your belt is positioned properly.

If your symptoms persist after performing these steps, there may be a motor issue with your turntable. If this is the case, please contact Numark Support for possible servicing options. You can find their contact numbers on this page.

    Hello Bill.

Thank you for the response. I'll be contacting the local reseller for support since I already tried adjusting the belt several times. I don't think the problem is the belt, without installing it and moving the platter manually I can see the same wobbling problem. It seems related with the center spindle.
