NS6 Channel 4 MIC Input Not Working

I have a Numark NS6 and suddenly I can no longer use my wireless mic on Channel 4. I moved it to Channel 3 and it works fine, therefore it is not the mic or the receiver/transceiver. Both settings (front and rear) are set to MIC. Gains and volume are set correctly. 1/4 inch cable has been replaced, although it works with the existing cable when moved to Channel 3. All was working fine until last week. Any ideas? Any shareable knowledge?

  • Hi Leo,

Thanks for posting. I would like to help. What operating system are you on and which DJ software are you using? Ensure that you're physically setup correctly, too. Make sure your switch in the back of the NS6 is set to MIC. Next, ensure that channel 4 switch is set to MIC. You can control the volume of your mic from channel 4. Review my images below.

Double-check your drivers are installed, as well. These can be downloaded from the product page on www.numark.com

  • Hi there, I was wondering if you have resolved your issue? I have had the exact same problem, I used ch 3 and 4 for mics, 4 was a cordless set up and 3 was on a short lead, well over a year or 2 ago I could not use ch 4 any more but ch 3 still was ok, unfortunately last night ch 3 stopped working and now I have no microphone at all. I doubt this would be a driver issue or software but am hopeful you might have found an easy fix. Cheers.
