NS7II Not connecting. Please help

I have a Numark NS7II and it stopped working. At first I thought it was my macbook but then I rebuilt my macbook and tried it again and it still did not work. I tried it with a windows pc and still the same thing.

The NS7II turns on but does not do anything else. The fan does not blow. It appears the drivers are there but to be sure I switched out several drivers, updated the firmware, etc, etc. Other than the usb red lights showing that the usb port is working, it does nothing else.

when I turn on serato i get the following msg: "numark usb audio device_ns7mkII hard ware connecting. This can take up to one minute".

After than nothing happens, the board does not connect, therefore serato does not think its connected and nothing is happening. Any ideas?
