Sync problem with NS7 II

Hi, i recently bought the Ns7 II and i'm using the latest version of Serato DJ.
It seems like i have a problem to keep the 2 songs sync together...
just like if the right platter runs a little bit faster than the other.
I have tried the same songs to be sure and the BPM are equal.
do you guys saw this problem with the NS7 ii ?

thanks in advance

  • Hello Martin,

Thanks for posting. I'd like to help. Did you have have sync engaged? If so, make sure you use Simple Sync from your Serato DJ software. This is recommended when using rotating platters of the V7, NS7 and NS7II. If you didn't have SYNC engaged, with rotating platters, even though the bpm's are the same, one deck may slightly drift further from the other. This is natural. This gives users the true vinyl feel, again you are using vinyl. Simply use the Pitch Bend buttons on your decks to correct the deck alignment.

  • Thank you very much for your reply.
I'm not using the sync button.

I will try with the pitch bend instead and see if it's work.

    have great evening

  • I've noticed this also and it's become so frustrating that I've stopped practising and performing because I thought I had lost my rhythm and/or the unit was faulty. I haven't read or seen anywhere that this is a feature of the NS7II

I'm glad someone else pointed it out and it wasn't me just loosing mind trying to beat match songs with the same bpm endlessly for every transition.

Don't get me wrong I love the NS7II and decided to upgrade from the NS6. The NS7II is packed full of cool features and I have learnt to compensate for something I thought was my lack of ability. If this is truly the case I may have chosen something different for an upgrade especially considering the price point.

If there is a fix or a way of minimising the drift between decks please let me know or even tip n tricks to keep the beats synced would be appreciated. The NS7II is a beast.

    Thanks
