The NS7III screens are sexy! How do you use them?

Hello Numark people!!! First time on your forum and I would like to start a petition. I would like to petition that those sexy new screens that add on to the NS7II to make it a NS7III be made Open Source so that they can be used with any Serato hardware!! I plan on buying an NS7 at some point, but I'm also a club DJ and in clubs lets be honest Pioneer is king, plus you can't use controllers in clubs (at least the ones I play at) withou being fired.

I would love to be able to use those screens with whatever serato setup I happen to be using. So please don't lock them to the NS7II.

  • Hello Cody,

Thanks for posting this info! Keep in mind, times are changing. DJ controllers are accepted more than ever during this era. The real hardcore, vinyl DJ enthusiasts understand with newer technology and features being added to DJ software, the controller is valuable tool to improve your set, especially with DVS. DVS is now accepted in many DJ controllers. Out with old, in the with new. It's time to move on!

Possibly in the future, screens will be a standard on all DJ controllers but at this time, they currently work with our NV, NS7III and possibly the NS7II in the future. Remember, we were the first to do it with DJ controllers (ex: Numark NV)!

  • Hello,

As promised, I wanted to notify you when DVS was going to be ready for our Numark NS7II and NS7III. It's finally here! With the release of Serato DJ 1.7.7, both NS7II and NS7III users can now utilize Serato's DVS Expansion Pack.

Remember.., on your NS7II and NS7III, channels 1 and 2 can be used for either a LINE or PHONO Input. Channels 3 and 4 can only be used for a LINE Input. However, if you want to use channels 3 and 4 with a PHONO turntable, simply pick up a Phono/Line Converter from your local electronics store to convert channels 3 and 4 to PHONO.

I hope this information helps everyone. Enjoy!
