Using MixTrack Pro 3 with one powered speaker

What is the best configuration to output optimal sound from a MixTrack Pro 3 through a single powered speaker (EV ZLX15P)?

I've so far been using an RCA out to AUX input configuration with VirtualDJ 8 and it has worked well for most house parties. I'm now working an event where I've the option of sending RCA outputs through a mixer that has XLR inputs as well as RCA inputs while the outputs are L-R XLR (mono outs).

Given my single speaker configuration, should I:

1. Continue to use my original RCA out to AUX input speaker connection, without going through the mixer, OR

2. Connect the RCA outs from the MixTrack controller to the RCA inputs on the mixer and output the signal from the L-mono XLR out to the mono XLR input on the powered speaker, OR

3. Connect the RCA outs from the MixTrack controller to the RCA inputs on the mixer and output the signals from both the L and R mono XLR outs to two different mono XLR inputs on the powered speaker?

Which of the options will provide me with the best/optimal sound?

PS: I'm not using a sub as the powered speaker is a full-range one catering to a crowd of about 100 ppl.

Thanks in advance for your help
